I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful mother and her two daughters during a recent spring family photography session in one of Wilmette’s most scenic parks, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear we were in for something magical. The trees were in full bloom, bursting with soft pink flowers that looked like something out of a fairytale. The air was warm, the light was golden, and the energy between this mom and her girls was pure joy. We couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for family portraits in the park.

Wilmette Park Features that are Perfect

One of the standout features of this park is a stunning old bridge — the kind that adds timeless charm to any photograph. We used the bridge as a focal point in several shots, framing the family beneath the arch and capturing candid moments as the girls danced and laughed with their mom.
